Varsity College
Afternoon classes at Varsity Lakes enable children to experience a variety of dance styles including ballet, jazz and lyrical, in a fun, relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
Our friendly, experienced teachers help the students learn the joy of dance and music while creating and promoting musical appreciation, rhythm, coordination, fitness, social skills and most of all fun!.
The following classes are held at Varsity College in the Music Room, the Globe and the JLC Area:
Preps
A fun upbeat jazz class using popular music followed by some classical ballet to give the little ones a variety of both styles. A variety of props are used like scarves, ribbon poles and pom-poms to make the class fun and interesting. It is also a great way for the new preppies to make friends with other children in their first year of school.
Wednesdays 3pm – 3:45pm (Music Room)

Grade 1
A fun exciting class to current music designed to incorporate the latest jazz and funk techniques, musicality, co-ordination, fitness, flexibility and most of all fun. Introduction to Classical ballet and Lyrical are also offered.
Wednesdays 3:00pm – 3:45pm (Globe)

A fun exciting class to current music designed to incorporate the latest jazz and funk techniques, musicality, co-ordination, fitness, flexibility and most of all fun. Introduction to Classical ballet and Lyrical are also offered.

Uniform
The Little Groovers purple leotard, skirt or shorts is preferred especially if your child is continuing throughout the year.
Little Groovers Dance Co. has its own violet leotard and skirt which are available to purchase for $46. See the Uniform page for more information.
