I can’t believe we are already at the middle of the year!! The girls will be performing their routine at school assembly end of this Term. They are all pretty excited about dancing for their friends and family.
Any questions please let me know and I look forward seeing the girls do their first performance.

VARSITY END OF YEAR CONCERT INFORMATION
The End of Year concert is held so family and friends can see what the Little Groovers have been up to through the year and give them their time to shine on the stage!. It also allows the students to experience dancing in a performance, in front of an audience, in a friendly familiar non threatening atmosphere. Last of all, the main thing is to have fun!!
Please be aware this is the second time we have held a concert here. Fraise who teaches the Grade 3-6’s has organised the event. We hope everyone enjoys and it is a quick smooth running morning for you all.
DATE: Sunday 26th November, 2017
TIME: 11:00am Start
PLACE: Varsity College Primary School Hall (Front part of the hall were the older class does class every week and children have their school assembly’s)
WHAT TO BRING

Costumes will be received on concert day but children have tried them on in class or will be in the next week or 2.

Pink Ballet Shoes if you have them. Otherwise Bare Feet. It would be nice to see everyone in ballet shoes if you can borrow some.

No bright coloured underwear as can be seen under costume.

Drink Bottle
HAIR & MAKE-UP

Hair in a Bun with all hair slicked back of face.

Please no large colourful jewellery, hair clips, nail polish etc.

Make-Up is optional but the kids do love it and adds to the excitement of the performance. It only needs to be applied lightly if at all.
Brown eye shadow
Blusher
Black Mascara/Eyeliner
Red Lipstick
WHEN YOU ARRIVE ON CONCERT DAY

Performers arrive between 10:00am & 10:30am

Children need to go to designated dressing area which will be back of the hall area where they got ready for mid year performance

PLEASE MAKE SURE ALL SHOES AND ITEMS ARE LABELLED WITH CHILDS NAME.

Concert should go for approx. 1 hour.
TICKETS

Tickets are purchased at the front door on the day CASH ONLY. Adults $10, Children (5-16Yrs) $5. Performers Free

Seats are not allocated.
CLASSES ARE STILL ON FOR 2 WEEKS AFTER THE CONCERT

Varsity Primary School
Time to be advised. This is planned by the Theartrix Dance Group who take the Grade 3-6’s at Varsity. We combine our concert together.
We are now planning for the concert regarding positions for dances, costumes etc..
It would be appreciated if you could let me know ASAP if you are not returning next Term or will not be attending the concert.

Costs involved for the Concert
Little Groovers always like to keep costs to a minimum.
Concert Tickets: Adults - $10, Children (5-16yrs) $5
Costume Hire for two Costume $30.

Invoices for Term 4
Invoices for Term 4 will be emailed out and the end of this week. This is to give you as much notice to pay it. It is due week 5 of Term 4.
Costumes will not be handed out to students at end of term if payment has not been made.
Invoices will have the costume hire added to it.
If you would like to make some part payments this is fine if you can please notify myself prior.
